The Role

Forward-deployed Engineer sitting at the intersection of Product Engineering and Go-To-Market teams. You'll be embedded directly with partners and customers to ship integrations fast, acting as the primary technical owner for every integration in your portfolio. You'll own the full integration lifecycle from qualification to handoff, working hands-on with technical and non-technical stakeholders on both sides.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full integration lifecycle for partners and customers: qualification, scoping, build, and handoff
• Run Phase 0 qualification assessments — mapping systems, data flows, risk surface, and build approach
• Build and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and partner adapters using Clara's integration framework and shared libraries
• Coordinate directly with partner technical teams as the primary technical point of contact throughout the build
• Partner with Platform/API squads to leverage core primitives (webhooks, auth patterns, event contracts) and identify reuse opportunities
• Ensure integrations meet Clara's standards: idempotency, observability, secrets management, data minimization, and sandbox testing
• Drive clean handoffs with runbooks, dashboards, on-call assignments, and support playbooks
• Feed learnings back into the platform to identify patterns that should become shared libraries or configuration

About You

You're a full-stack engineer comfortable writing production code across multiple languages and frameworks. You have experience building APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems. You excel at cross-functional collaboration, can communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You're detail-oriented, take ownership of outcomes, and are passionate about building reliable financial infrastructure.

Salary Disclosure: The salary range of $80,000–$130,000 USD annually is an editorial market estimate based on role level, location, and industry benchmarks.
