The Role
We're seeking a Risk Modeling Lead to strengthen Clara's credit risk capabilities and contribute directly to business resilience and growth. In this leadership position, you will:
- Design and implement predictive credit risk models that drive informed lending and underwriting decisions
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to align risk strategy with business objectives
- Develop and maintain advanced analytical frameworks for credit assessment and portfolio risk management
- Establish best practices for model validation, monitoring, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor analytical team members and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
- Drive innovation in risk modeling techniques tailored to Latin American market conditions
What We're Looking For
You bring deep expertise in credit risk modeling, statistical analysis, and financial mathematics. You're comfortable leading technical initiatives in fast-paced environments, communicating complex risk concepts to stakeholders, and working across geographically distributed teams. Experience with fintech, emerging markets, or regulated financial services is valued.
