Communications Officer (Media Relations)

About the Role

Coefficient Giving seeks a Communications Officer focused on media relations to shape public, policymaker, and partner understanding of our work. This is a mission-driven position requiring strong news judgment, excellent writing, and proven ability to build trust with journalists.

As our spokesperson, you will own day-to-day press operations including:

• Pitching and placing stories with media outlets
• Fielding and responding to press inquiries
• Preparing staff for media opportunities and interviews
• Developing rapid, thoughtful responses to news coverage of our work
• Maintaining organizational commitment to rigor and accuracy in all communications
