About the Role

Inetum2 is seeking a Senior Desktop Virtualization Technology Consultant to join our global team. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge enterprise technology solutions. As a senior consultant, you will leverage your extensive expertise in desktop virtualization technologies to drive digital transformation initiatives for our clients across various industries.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, architecting and implementing sophisticated virtualization solutions that enhance workplace productivity, reduce operational costs, and improve security posture across enterprise environments. You'll work with leading platforms and technologies in the virtualization ecosystem, providing strategic guidance and hands-on technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive desktop virtualization solutions tailored to client business requirements and technical infrastructure
• Conduct technology assessments and feasibility studies for virtualization projects, identifying opportunities for optimization and modernization
• Lead implementation of desktop virtualization platforms, ensuring best practices and minimal disruption to business operations
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and client technical teams
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and deliver strategic recommendations for resolution
• Manage client relationships, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
• Stay current with emerging virtualization technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials for clients
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical assessments, proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions incorporating networking, security, and infrastructure components

Required Experience & Skills

• Desktop Virtualization Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise desktop virtualization platforms, including deep knowledge of solutions such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, or similar technologies
• Technical Architecture: Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective virtualization architectures for enterprise environments
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking, storage, security, and server infrastructure as it relates to virtualization deployments
• Client Consulting: Demonstrated experience in consulting roles with strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Project Management: Experience managing complex virtualization implementation projects from planning through delivery and optimization
• Cloud Integration: Familiarity with hybrid and cloud-based virtualization solutions and their integration with on-premises infrastructure
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges
• Documentation: Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and training materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft certifications
• Experience with End-User Computing (EUC) environments and User Experience Optimization (UXO)
• Knowledge of application delivery and virtualization technologies
• Experience with security considerations in virtualized environments
• Multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish and English
• Previous experience in professional services or consulting firms
