Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Technology Architect to lead the implementation and optimization of our Cordial marketing automation platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, requiring you to architect sophisticated marketing technology solutions that drive revenue and customer engagement at scale. You will own platform configuration, system integrations, data migrations, and team enablement across a complex, multi-brand environment.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Configuration & Implementation

  • Lead comprehensive Cordial platform configuration including account structure design, brand-level workspace setup, and granular user role management for multi-brand environments
  • Configure Cordial's native Customer Data Platform (CDP) layer, including contact schema design, custom attributes, data supplement collections, and audience segmentation strategies
  • Build and optimize automated messaging flows covering cart/browse abandonment, post-purchase sequences, win-back campaigns, transactional triggers, and sophisticated lifecycle orchestration
  • Implement Cordial Edge AI capabilities including Message Insights, Message Assistant, and Price Sensitivity models to enhance campaign performance
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing frameworks within Cordial's experimentation engine to drive continuous optimization

SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) Integration

  • Configure and deploy Cordial's SFCC cartridge integration seamlessly across multi-site storefronts
  • Map SFCC customer, order, product, and wish list data to Cordial contact and supplement data schemas with precision
  • Set up and validate both real-time event tracking (browse, cart, purchase events) and batch data synchronization jobs for reliable data flow
  • Coordinate effectively with the client's SFCC team on Business Manager configurations, cartridge path setup, and API endpoint configuration
  • Architect solutions ensuring multi-brand site isolation while enabling shared data infrastructure and operational efficiency

Data Migration & Vendor Cutover

  • Plan and execute meticulous migration of subscriber lists, suppression files, engagement history, and segment definitions from legacy platforms (Bluecore, Attentive) into Cordial
  • Architect the data flow between Amperity (CDP) and Cordial's native CDP, defining system ownership of the golden customer record during and after transition periods
  • Manage parallel operations during vendor cutover to ensure zero disruption to email and SMS revenue streams
  • Validate deliverability, domain reputation, and sending infrastructure during IP warm-up and migration phases

Enablement & Optimization

  • Develop comprehensive training programs and documentation to enable internal teams and clients on Cordial platform capabilities
  • Provide hands-on guidance for marketers on building campaigns, managing segments, and leveraging automation features
  • Monitor platform performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities to improve engagement rates and revenue impact
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide strategic recommendations for platform enhancements

You are a strategic technical leader with proven expertise in marketing automation platforms, customer data platforms, and e-commerce integrations. You combine deep platform knowledge with the ability to architect solutions for complex, multi-brand environments. Your background includes successful Cordial implementations, SFCC integrations, and data migration projects. You excel at managing stakeholder relationships, enabling teams through training and documentation, and driving results-oriented projects to completion.

You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail in data architecture, and the capacity to balance technical precision with business objectives. Your communication skills allow you to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and guide teams through complex implementations.
