About This Role
The-Flex is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial Virtual Travel Assistant & Affiliate Recruiter Manager to join our growing remote team. This part-time position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while managing travel bookings across major Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and building a network of commission-based travel booking professionals. Key Responsibilities
Travel Booking & Management Operations
Book accommodations, flights, and comprehensive travel-related services on industry-leading platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and similar OTA providers
Manage all aspects of client reservations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring bookings align precisely with client preferences, budget constraints, and travel schedules
Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and updates in a timely and professional manner to maintain client satisfaction and platform compliance
Communicate effectively with clients regarding booking confirmations, itinerary details, and any necessary adjustments
Maintain organized records of all bookings and client interactions for future reference and quality assurance
Team Expansion & Affiliate Recruitment Management
Identify and recruit motivated individuals interested in becoming travel booking assistants within our commission-based model
Promote the travel assistant opportunity to potential team members through networking, outreach, and marketing initiatives
Onboard new team members with comprehensive training on how to effectively navigate and utilize major OTA platforms for successful bookings
Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team members understand booking procedures, client service standards, and platform best practices
Monitor team performance metrics, tracking successful transactions and measuring client satisfaction levels
Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment that encourages growth and rewards performance
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced remote environments and possesses genuine enthusiasm for the travel industry. You have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously. Your communication abilities are outstanding, both for client interactions and team management. You're entrepreneurial by nature, comfortable with commission-based compensation models, and motivated by earning performance-based income. Additionally, you have experience navigating online travel platforms, understanding of OTA ecosystems, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed in their roles.
