Position Overview
We're seeking a PPC Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads and social platforms including Meta and LinkedIn. You'll support both external client accounts and Blacksmith's internal lead generation efforts, building performance-focused campaigns that drive measurable results—whether leads, revenue, or brand awareness.
This role is ideal for an analytical, hands-on professional comfortable managing multiple accounts while collaborating with design, SEO, and content teams to align paid strategy with broader digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and manage paid search campaigns in Google Ads across multiple client accounts
- Develop campaign structures aligned with client goals, including search, display, remarketing, and Performance Max strategies
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and write/edit high-performing ad copy
- Set up conversion tracking and ensure attribution accuracy via GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM integrations
- Monitor daily spend and pacing to maintain budget compliance while hitting CPA/CPL targets
- Identify and manage negative keywords to improve campaign efficiency
- Analyze weekly performance and implement ongoing optimizations (bids, A/B tests, landing page suggestions)
- Prepare monthly reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, design, and development teams
- Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, keyword trends, and industry benchmarks
