About This Role
The-Flex is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Virtual Travel Assistant & Affiliate Recruiter Manager to manage bookings across major Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and expand our team through strategic recruitment. This is a remote, part-time position perfect for travel enthusiasts who want flexibility and earning potential through commission-based compensation.
This hybrid role combines hands-on travel booking management with team leadership and affiliate recruitment responsibilities. You'll be the backbone of our travel booking operations while building and mentoring a growing network of travel professionals.
Core Responsibilities
Travel Booking & Management (60% of role)
Book accommodations, flights, and comprehensive travel-related services on industry-leading platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and similar OTAs
Manage complete reservation lifecycle including modifications, cancellations, and client communication
Ensure all bookings strictly align with client preferences, budget constraints, and scheduling requirements
Maintain detailed booking records and client profiles for improved service delivery
Provide excellent customer service and resolve booking-related issues promptly
Stay updated on OTA platform changes, pricing strategies, and available travel options
Team Expansion & Affiliate Recruitment (40% of role)
Identify, prospect, and recruit potential individuals capable of assisting with travel bookings
Promote and communicate the commission-based travel assistant opportunity through effective networking and outreach
Onboard and train new team members on OTA platform navigation and best practices for successful bookings
Track affiliate performance metrics, monitor transaction completion rates, and ensure consistent client satisfaction
Provide ongoing guidance, support, and performance feedback to recruited team members
Build and cultivate a high-performing remote team of travel booking professionals
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience with major OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team management
