Managing Director, Healthcare Innovations

About the Role

Join the American Institutes for Research (AIR) as a Managing Director within our Healthcare Innovations team. You will lead business development activities, proposal strategy, and large-scale healthcare initiatives for federal health agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capture teams and serve as technical or business lead for major proposals
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional capture and proposal teams
• Participate in strategic partnering discussions
• Provide project leadership for large, complex initiatives within the Healthcare Innovations portfolio
• Oversee implementation, monitoring, technical assistance, and evaluation initiatives

This role is best suited for leaders with a proven track record managing large, complex business development efforts and projects for major CMS health initiatives. Expertise in the following areas is especially valued:

• Medicaid policy and data
• Value-based specialty care
• Pharmaceutical policy and strategy
