The Role

Change.org is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead communications operations in Turkey. Reporting to the Associate Director of Communications, you will be a key member of the global Communications Team, responsible for identifying, supporting, and amplifying compelling citizen-driven campaigns across press, social media, and email channels within Turkey. This is a strategic leadership position that combines regional expertise with global communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Amplification: Consistently identify, support, and drive major people-power campaign moments, generating strong reach and wide amplification across social and traditional media while centering petition starters and grassroots leaders.
Platform Awareness: Increase awareness of Change.org and its campaigns among key audiences including media outlets, decision-makers, and influential stakeholders across Turkey.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and sustain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, decision-makers, and partners to enhance both immediate campaign reach and long-term platform visibility.
Corporate Communications Leadership: Lead corporate communications efforts in Turkey to implement global brand strategy across owned and earned media channels. Collaborate with other functional leads to refine global brand strategy while contributing to departmental goals and cultural initiatives.
Platform Growth: Contribute to increased platform activity in Turkey by engaging Change.org's email audience with timely, impactful, and high-performing content tailored to the Turkish market.
Brand Alignment: Maintain a diverse campaign portfolio strongly aligned with brand principles, reflecting ideological diversity to foster trust and openness across wide-ranging audiences.
